Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. Here's how ReflexLab handles your data.

ReflexLab is designed to be a privacy-friendly tool. We don't require accounts, we don't track you, and your test data never leaves your device.

Data Storage

All data generated by using ReflexLab, including your reaction time results, personal best, session history, achieved ranks, and settings, is stored locally in your browser using localStorage.

This means your data stays on your device. Nothing is sent to or stored on any external server. It also means your data won't sync across different browsers or devices.

No Accounts or Sign-Ups

ReflexLab does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in. You can use the tool immediately without providing any personal information.

Cookies

ReflexLab itself does not set any cookies. Your preferences and test data are stored using localStorage, which is separate from cookies and is not sent with network requests.

However, Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish unique visitors and track usage patterns. These cookies do not contain personally identifiable information.

Third-Party Resources

ReflexLab loads the following external resources to provide its functionality:

  • Phosphor Icons (unpkg.com) - icon library used for UI elements
  • Chart.js (jsdelivr.net) - charting library used for the trend graph
  • Google Analytics (google.com) - anonymous usage analytics

These resources are loaded from third-party CDNs. While ReflexLab itself does not track you, these CDN providers may log standard server access information (such as IP addresses) as part of their normal operations. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for more details.

Analytics

ReflexLab uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, approximate location (country/region), device type, and browser information. This helps us understand how the site is used and where we can improve.

Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique users. No personally identifiable information is collected. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using a browser extension or adjusting your browser's cookie settings.

For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete all your stored data at any time by using the Reset button in the toolbar above the test area. This will clear your personal best, session history, trend graph data, and achieved ranks.

Alternatively, you can clear your browser's localStorage for this site through your browser settings.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page. As ReflexLab grows and new features are added, this policy will be updated accordingly.
